If you’re a parent wondering whether to allow your child to embark on our programme there are so many reasons why it could benefit said child. In our eyes the earlier the better… I.e. before they start their rapid growth spurt (PHV). Mobility and stability as this growth spurt takes place can be majorly affected. This poses a very real issue when your child is playing sport, where multidirectional movements at speed can no longer be executed efficiently. Performance ⬇ injury risk ⬆. We witness many ‘latecomers’ (circa PHV) onto our programme and the effects of growth on movement capabilities are in full effect making life quite challenging for them. Attacking movement qualities and strength work early in a child’s life goes along way to controlling sues with rapid growth spurts.
