Hamstring Injury Reduction | Infographic

If there’s one bucket that we often see empty in athletic development in our demographic it will be at the speed end of the spectrum. To ensure we are optimising the role of the hamstrings in sports performance, a multi faceted approach must be taken where possible to avoid acute injuries. Most attack it from a max strength hip dominant perspective (heavy deadlifts etc) , some also attack it from a knee dominant angle (nordics etc) but we see few attacking hamstring health from the speed end of the continuum. Sprinting correctly 1-2 times per week will go along way to minimising the injury risk. For more info check out our recent blog “Bullet Proofing Hamstrings”, written by @todddavidsonp2pcoaching.
