Rediscover Your Best Self with the Fit Strong and Healthy Programme
Are you 45 or older and looking to re-engage with fitness?
The F.S.H. programme is the perfect starting point for you.
Remember the days when you were more active, whether in school, university, or as part of a sports team? Fast forward 30 years, and life, work, children, and natural aging have likely decreased your activity levels.
Wayward food choices and increasing sedentary habits can affect your weight and overall health, with the mirror reflecting a different 'you.'
As we age, decreases in muscle mass, bone density, mobility, and coordination become very real unless we take action. These changes increase the risk of metabolic health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, and certain cancers. It’s not an encouraging outlook, but there’s good news: we can reverse these effects.
The human body is remarkable and responds to the demands you place on it. Sit all day behind a desk, and it will adapt to that. Join the F.S.H. programme, and you'll adapt in the most positive way possible. Let us take care of every aspect of your development.
What To Expect
The programme really is for anyone looking to be a fitter and healthier version of themselves as they move through life.
None of us can slow down the aging process but what we can do is keep hold of and develop the physical qualities that decline over time.
The programme itself allows you to choose between four, eight or twelve sessions per month.
Sessions run Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 06:30am – 07:30am. A session can hold up to six participants so the coach to class participant ratio is very favourable. This allows a high quality of attention to detail, in turn maximising every ones ability and potential.
Every session starts with time exploring mobility and activation drills to prep the body for further exercise involving power and strength and regular attendance will see all these qualities develop fantastically well under our watchful guidance.
